Outdoor play is an important part of every child’s day at 1st Friends. Our garden offers varied spaces where children can climb, balance, run and build confidence at their own pace.
The covered areas mean children can continue learning outside in changing weather, with opportunities for both energetic play and quieter activities.

Our wooden pirate ship, slide and open play areas invite children to create stories, work together and take safe, age-appropriate challenges.
These shared adventures help children practise communication, cooperation and problem-solving while developing their physical skills.

From mixing at the mud kitchen to building in the sandpit and investigating natural materials, the garden makes hands-on learning part of everyday life.
